What is WordCamp?

WordCamp Davao 2019 is an event organized by a community of volunteers to share all things about WordPress.

This event brings together :

We want you to be part of it by sharing your knowledge to our community.

We do NOT require any special certification.

You don’t really have to be a certified expert or anything like that. But we need you to be passionate about what you do.

We hope you can infect us with that enthusiasm through your talk.

If you haven’t spoken at a conference before, do NOT let that hold you back!

What’s important is that you present your chosen topic passionately and respectfully.

Talks can be in English, Filipino, and/or Bisaya (we actually encourage more speakers to present their talk in Bisaya)
We have 3 tracks available:
- Regular for ~30mins talk
- Developers & Designers for ~1.30hr talk
- Bloggers & Business for ~30mins talk
- Note: Talk duration may change slightly but we will contact you for any changes.
If you would like to submit more than one topic, please submit a separate application form for each topic.
The selection committee will review slides against the WordCamp slide deck guidelines for accepted talks.
Speakers will be offered free admission to WordCamp Davao, but we are unable to pay for travel & accommodation.
Speakers are welcome to join us at the Happiness Bar — a desk where participants can drop by and ask WordPress-related questions.
